Your personally-identifiable information (e.g. title, name, address, email address, telephone number, bank details, credit card number) will only be used by us in accordance with the German data protection laws. The following informs you about the ways in which your personally-identifiable information is used, their scope and purpose, as well as the way data is collected and processed. This privacy policy relates only to our websites. If you follow links on our pages and are taken to other websites then please make sure you consult the privacy policy of these third-party sites.

 

2. Automated data collection
Information is collected by us from your web browser for technical reasons.This data includes:

    • Operating system used
    • The web page whose link you followed to our website
        (the “Referrer URL”)
    • The web page you are currently viewing
    • Access date and time
    • Your Internet Protocol (IP) address

 

These pieces of anonymous information are stored separately from any personally-identifiable data that you may give us and thus cannot be traced back to any individual person. They are analysed for statistical purposes, in order to enable us to improve our website and the services we offer on it. The data is destroyed once the analysis is complete.

 

3. CRM data
(1) Such personally-identifiable data as we need from you to justify, organise or modify our contractual relationship with you (“CRM data”) is only ever used for the completion of this contract. An example would be the transfer of your name and address to goods suppliers, to enable them to deliver the goods to you. Your personally-identifiable data is only transferred to third parties external to the contractual relationship if you give your explicit approval or if legal requirements necessitate this action.
(2) We may in individual cases disclose information about your CRM data when required to by the appropriate authorities, insofar that this is necessary. Examples where this is the case include: purposes of criminal investigation; the averting of danger by the state police authorities; the fulfilment of statutory tasks of the federal or state constitutional intelligence authorities, the Federal Intelligence Service or the Military Counter-Intelligence Service; and the assertion of intellectual property rights.

 

4. Information about cookies
Cookies are used by us to enable us to recognise cases where the same user has used our services on multiple occasions. Cookies are small text files, which are created and stored on your PC by your web browser. They are also used by us to optimise our website and the services that it offers. The cookies used are known as “session cookies”, and are deleted when you close your web browser. No cookies are ever stored that contain personally-identifiable data.
